 In fifth and sixth grade math you will develop a whole new way of thinking .  During these two years, you will learn how important  math really is in your daily lives. You will see how everything that has lead you here will have great value in the way you learn and retain new skills.

 Math is not only numbers, it is also a language used to communicate so many more ideas, too many to list here.  Please be open, willing, and ready to embark on this adventure with me.  Math is fun! There are so many ways to solve problems. In my class I encourage you to be analytical and dig deeper and focus on process rather than just getting the "correct" answers.
